CUSTOMS CLEARANCE
Zero Bureaucracy in
Cross-Border Trade
In international iron-steel and commodity trading, ensuring that materials cross borders smoothly and bank payments (letters of credit) are secured depends on flawless document management. Our experienced customs departments in our Istanbul (HQ) and Tehran offices rapidly finalize all legal procedures in export, import, and transit trade regimes on your behalf.
Letter of Credit Transactions and Clean Documents
Financial security is essential in foreign trade volumes worth millions of dollars. Our customs and operations team analyzes the conditions of the Letter of Credit (L/C) opened through banks line by line.
From the printing of the Bill of Lading (B/L) to packing lists, from commercial invoices to insurance policies, all shipping documents are prepared to be presented to the bank with the goal of a "Clean Document" according to UCP 600 rules. Thus, when the goods reach the port, the payment guarantee works unshakeably.
- Full mastery of UCP 600 rules and experience in Cash Against Documents (CAD) transactions.
- Issuance of Clean on Board Bill of Lading protecting the buyer and the seller.
Origin, EUR.1 and Circulation Documents
Certifications indicating the "Nationality" of the product are of vital importance so that you can benefit from tax advantages in the customs of different countries or not get caught in import restrictions. All circulation documents required according to the destination of your products are approved by the Chamber of Commerce and Customs Directorates on our behalf.
In addition, the original MTC (Mill Test Certificate) documents, which prove the physical and chemical structure of the material in iron and steel products, are completely attached to all customs declarations.
- EUR.1 for Europe, Certificate of Origin approval for other countries.
- Special Consulate and Commercial Attaché approval procedures requested by the importing country.
Independent Inspection (PSI)
The most transparent step of the customs clearance process is the approval of the cargo by a third eye. Upon your request, we invite the world's most respected independent inspection institutions such as SGS, Bureau Veritas, or Intertek to the loading site (Port or Factory).
These organizations inspect the quantity (Draft Survey / Weighbridge), quality, packaging condition, and MTC compliance of the loaded commodity and issue an internationally valid Inspection Certificate. Thus, you will not encounter any surprises at the import customs.
- Draft Survey (weighing by displacement) supervision at ports.
- Visual quality and damage control during loading (Pre-Shipment Inspection).
CUSTOMS REGIME AND MANAGEMENT
Export Declaration (EX)
Instant registration of official customs exit declarations (EX1) in the process from the shipment of the products from the factory to the port until they are loaded onto the ship.
Transit Trade (T1/T2)
Execution of transit regime and guarantee transactions without nationalization at ports or bonded warehouses for products to be sold to third countries.
HS Code Analysis
Preventing the risk of tax/penalty in the destination country by declaring iron, steel, and chemical fertilizers with the correct Customs Tariff Statistics Position (HS Code).
